front panel of the UM-550 as well as merge channels, filter messages from
specific ports, &even use the interface to check cables.

The UM-550 uses F.P.T. or Fast Processing Technology to maintain a ultra-low
latency, low jitter MIDI transmission as well as H.D.M.R or Hardware Direct MIDI
Routing which ensures no added latency within the hardware of the UM-550.
