Also effective in a classroom setting, teachers are able
to create assessment tests that are scored
electronically and have immediate access to student
progress. Students work at their own pace, while the
teacher sets up guidelines for the student to follow.
Drills are randomized, so exercises may be played over
and over without duplicating material. Immerse yourself
and your students in a stimulating environment for
developing musicianship with Alfred's Interactive
Musician!
Sharpen
the ability to recognize pitches by ear, and by their location
on the piano keyboard. Practice identifying single notes,
intervals, melodies (customize for up to 10 notes long), scales,
or chords. Improve sight-reading speed. Students can improve the
accuracy of how they play rhythms, and practice notating the
rhythms they hear. Choose the instrument you want to hear, and
customize rhythm, melody, or length options. All exercises
technically can be played by using your computer keyboard or
mouse, but some (especially sight-reading exercises) work much
better if you connect a MIDI keyboard. REQUIREMENTS: Windows 98/
