Essential Jazz Guitar Video Demos Memo: This begins on the Fm7 chord, and goes to Bbm7, Eb7, and back to the I. A bass line is added to connect the chords together by playing a Fm7, going to a Gm7 and to an Ab6. Then connect to the Bbm7 by using an Adim chord, followed by a Bbm7, Cm7, Bbm7, and moving chromatically into the Eb7, to Db6, Cm7, Bbm7 and Ab6. Complete the phrase by playing Bbm7, Bdim and Ab6. Memo: This phrase is in
a 3/4 tempo. With any of these comping phrases you can
use a pick and your fingers, or you can just use the
pick.
